The year is 1947. Time had already come to get emancipation from the British. But a banter which cut a nation into pieces was embroiled with the shrewdness of power demise in the name of independence. The death of people’s desires, expectancy, speculatory took place in the fire burn of partition. That croaking dissipated through far-off India including the district of Dinajpur, along with Balurghat. On 15th of August,1947, Jawaharlal Nehru heaved the flag of independent India. Besides, Panaullah Saheb, the District Magistrate of Balurghat uplifted the Pakistani Flag at Balurghat. The armored car of Pakistani Militia overnight barged into Balurghat High school premises. Balurghat became the segment of East Pakistan. Just after the three days then, 18th August came off. Multiverse Media & SHiKSHA Institute presents.
