- IPS Officer Nina Singh becomes the first Indian Women CISF Chief.
- CISF: Central Industrial Security Force. It works under the Ministry of Home Affairs and was established in 1969. The security cover of the CISF includes country’s highly sensitive infrastructure facilities like the Airports, Ports and Power Plants. Its Motto is “Safety and Defence”.
- Anish Dayal Singh has been appointed as the Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
- CRPF: It is the largest central armed police force under the Union Home Ministry, whose motto is “Service and Loyalty”. It was established under the CRPF Act 1949. HQ- New Delhi.

- Supreme Court Collegium: It is the only body to look after the matters of appointment and transfer of the judges of the High Courts and the Supreme Court. This body, neither constitutional nor a statutory one, was established under by means of the decision of the Supreme Court in 1993. The collegium is a five member panel headed by the CJI with five senior-most judges of the Supreme court.
- Justice Sanjiv Khanna, the second senior-most judge of the Supreme Court has been nominated as the Executive Chairperson of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
- Established under the Legal Services Authority Act , 1987, NALSA is aimed at providing free legal services to the weaker sections of the society and to organise Lok Adalats for amicable settlement of disputes. The prime objective of NALSA is the prompt disposal of the cases and reducing the burden of the judiciary.

The initiative eyeing the reduction of dependency on fossil fuel and cost cutting will use inert materials obtained from solid waste to build embankments alongside the national highways.

- The Government of India and the Government of Italy has signed a pact “Migration and Movement”.
- The Reserve Bank of India has enabled “Card-on-File Tokenization” to make digital payments, more safe secure and sound through card issuing banks and institutions.
- “Tokenization” refers to the replacement of actual credit and debit card details with an alternate code called token that will be generated on specific context on a temporary basis and without any intrinsic value out of that specific context of transaction.
