Lachit Barpukhan was a commander in the Ahom Kingdom that was established in 1228 in the Brahmaputra Valley. The Ahom army led by Lachit Barpukhan successfully defeated the mighty Mughal Army in the Battle of Saraighat in 1671.
· During the consecration ceremony of the Ram lalla in Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, indigenous portable hospital – Arogya Maitri Disaster Management Cube – was deployed under the Project BHISM (Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog Hita and Maitri). Its the world’s first portable hospital cube.

· 75th Republic Day Highlights:
