And here is one very unusual chapter from the book. Remember, this book is laden with such unusual methods I have used in my life

In my struggling years I used to be extremely shy and I lacked the self-confidence to interact with people. My lack of confidence in speaking in English often resulted in not participating in important discussions, debates or seminars. Then I started adopting one technique. This is a secret from my life I am sharing with you and you may even laugh at this. But this helped me to regain confidence a lot. In fact, I discovered that I was not speaking properly because of my fear psychosis with public speaking or my lack of confidence to talk in front of the people whom I know. I used to be afraid of being embarrassed in front of them. But I used to talk eloquently over phone whenever I had a call from the customer care or from any unknown callers. So, I made a list of toll-free numbers from different advertisements and I started conversing with their customer care executives. I found that I was not at all hesitating while I was interacting with them. In fact, I experimented every way of speaking with those unfortunate customer care executives. Sometimes I was humorous. Sometimes I was angry. I even posed as a very satisfied customer to check if could use my words properly. As those numbers were toll-free, it needed no penny from my purse, but I was gaining confidence every time. I became such a frequent caller that sometimes the same executive held the line and could recognize my voice and almost abused me for buzzing them with unnecessary calls. That lady did not know me personally and I did not have any problem in facing a setback or two in my voyage to gain confidence of public speaking or improving my communication skills.
