Meet Manzar Anjum, the First IAS from Uttar Dinajpur

He is the first to clear IAS from Uttar Dinajpur. He is the first from the Islampur subdivision to get admission to Kanpur IIT. He studied from the Scholar in Islampur till his ICSE after which he got admission to Aligarh Muslim University to pursue Plus Two. His life witnessed a sea change after that. Manzar’s father left this world in 2012 due to severe kidney problems. But he had implanted dreams in the hearts of his children. Today all of them are established and have the vision to serve the nation. Manzar, nicknamed Prince is a passionate young man, with a sincere urge to do good for society. His original home is at Chhowsia bustee Islampur, known for its poor literacy rate. In fact, strangely Uttar Dinajpur is the district in West Bengal with the lowest literacy rate in the state. But nothing deterred Price to push harder for his dreams. If you ever meet his family members, the humbleness of each of the family will surprise you. Maybe, this family and the deep-rooted value system taught Manzar to remain steady in life even after achieving success or not to break down even when the chips were down. In this interview, he opens his heart out and motivates the aspirants to pursue their dreams and to work harder. Wishing him all the very best.
